What
is Sierra Art Trails?

Sierra
Art
Trails
is a California non-profit arts
organization dedicated to supporting artists and artisans, promoting art
education, and benefiting our communities
through cultural tourism. Sierra Art Trails offers workshops,
demonstrations, lectures, and special exhibits for artists and the general
public.
SAT
also raises monies for student sponsorships, scholarships, public art, and other
art related projects.
The
Sierra Art Trails Yosemite Foothills Open Studio Tour is an annual event in Eastern Madera and Mariposa
Counties that draws thousands of visitors to the Sierra Foothills each year.
Sierra
Art Trails 2012 is our 10th annual Open Studio Tour.
The
event will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 5th through
7th, from 10AM
to 6 PM.
The show features the work of a wide range of artists and artisans on display in
homes, studios, businesses, and galleries throughout the area.
Sierra
Art
Trails
is your opportunity to meet some of our finest artists in their workspaces. Pack
up your family and friends and come discover our distinctive mountain
communities.
Sierra
Art
Trails is a yearly vacation event for many people.
It is an outstanding chance to
visit the Yosemite area, enjoy the beauty of autumn,
stay in comfortable lodgings, and eat at our many fine restaurants.

The
communities and artists of
Eastern
Madera
County
and Mariposa
County
look forward to meeting you, and want to thank you for supporting the arts
in our area! We hope you will enjoy the weekend as much as we do.
