Who We Are

Sierra Art Trails is a California non-profit arts organization dedicated to supporting artists and artisans, promoting art education, and benefiting our communities through cultural tourism.

Sierra Art Trails offers workshops, demonstrations, lectures, and special exhibits for artists and the general public. SAT also raises monies for student sponsorships, scholarships, public art, and other art related projects.

Our annual Open Studio Tour draws thousands of visitors to our area each year.

Sierra Art Trails is made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers responsible for managing and promoting the organization, planning exhibits, activities, and events, fundraising, and publishing the annual Sierra Art Trails catalog.

Sierra Art Trails relies on funds raised by participating artists, advertisers, and generous public and private sponsors.  Our 2011 major sponsors include

Yosemite Sierra Visitor's Bureau

Chukchansi Gold Casino and Resort

KJewel Radio

Sierra Telephone.

Sierra Art Trails operates from Stellar Gallery in Oakhurst.  The gallery hosts the Sierra Art Trials Preview Exhibit, and also displays a selection of donated artworks that benefit the event.  In 2010 Stellar Gallery will be hosting the Sierra Art Trails special exhibit, "Water, Source of Life".

We are always looking for volunteers to help plan and manage our activities, exhibits, and events.  If you are interested in joining the planning committee, or helping out as a volunteer,  please contact us at 559-658-8844 or by email at admin@sierraarttrails.org
